How does the Lending Library system work
Ordering books can be done only through the library catalog → look at Ordering instruction
The online catalog may be accessed via the Main Library home page: http://biblioteka.wum.edu.pl/en
Library catalog is available on every device with internet access.
Visitors of the Library may use catalog on:
pc stations in Reading Room
pc stations in in Lending Library and Self -Service Lending Library
own devices with Wi-Fi functionality → look at Wi-Fi access instruction
The online catalog enables users to:
search the book and journal titles
view their library account
order books
renew a borrowed book
Order accomplishment time is 15 minutes in most situations, but it depends on number of orders.
Ordered books should be pick up in 4 days in Lending Library. After this time, books will be returned to the library storage. If you order book, which is borrowed by other users – you are automatically queued in library system.
Order accomplishment is confirmed by an e-mail.
Please return books to the Library by the due date or renew them. Please be advised that you are charged a daily fine for each item not returned or renewed by its due date. Fines are accrued at 1 zloty per item, per day.
Books from Lending Library can be borrowed for 180 days with possibility of single renewing for next 180 days.
